As far as budget anti snap cylinders go we really like this and fit it as standard to our customers doors here in the Midlands if all they require is a simple cylinder lock change. The Asec Vital thumbturn euro cylinder offers far more protection that just a standard euro cylinder as it is drill/pick and pull resistant as well as having sacrificial cuts either end of the Euro Cylinder to offer a predetermined break point.

You are better off having this cylinder offering some anti-snap protection than having a euro cylinder that offers you nothing at all and they are at a fantastic price in fact cheaper than standard euro cylinders offering no additional protection.

But look be under no illusion if you want a Anti snap cylinder that is going to be 100% fit for purpose you will need to buy a TS007 diamond standard lock.
